The rising sun illuminates Buachaille Etive Mor with the River Coupall in the foreground. A very early start in the pitch dark, arriving on a very cold and seemingly cloud enveloped pre-dawn, were rewarded by a clearance at just the right time. A much photographed view, yet the experience of being there was inspiring.
