Muddy River Ayr
The River Ayr flowing through Failford Gorge. Recent rain has turned the river a deep brown and, combined with the cliffs and the sun, this looks more like a river in the south of France than the west of Scotland! A lovely part of the River Ayr, this area benefits from a beautiful woodland walk, especially impressive during bluebell season, and a pub in the nearby village serving good food and ale brewed in their own brewery.
